After researching many child play tables, we purchased this for our 2 grandsons, ages 4 and 18 months. The construction is of the highest quality, very sturdy, and very good looking! My daughter plans to put it in their new family room as it is not an eyesore like some other products I saw. A little time-consuming to put together, but the instructions were perfect, all pieces fit together easily and the way it was shipped and packaged guaranteed no dents, dings or other damage.

Look no further! This is the one to purchase as it will be one of those things that last forever!!

We purchased this set for our 15-month old twins. This set was way more than I intended to spend (originally I was looking to spend around $100). However, my children have developed this habit of rearranging our furniture (pushing living room and dining room chairs around the house), so I knew I needed something heavy. They are not going to be able to move this table until they out grow it!

Reasons why we love this table:
1. We love the quality of the furniture, it is very well made. The picture does not do this set justice. It looks like an heirloom piece. We purchased the set in espresso to match our family room furniture.
2. There is ample room to fit six toddlers. Most tables are too narrow to have two children sitting across from one another.
3. The book nooks go all the way through, so that the child on one side of the table can access the materials from the other side of the table.
4. The pencil/crayon/marker holder that runs the perimeter of the table makes it easy for the little ones to place their writing instruments.
5. The chairs are sturdy (however as noted in the description, the chairs will not fit with the table at the low setting). We are going to look for chairs to fit the table at the low setting.
6. The table was very easy to put together.
7. The paper roll is easy to remove when not in use.
8. We are planning on using this as an all-puprpose table (once we find chairs that fit), for everything from meals and snacks to activities and games.
9. Heavy table (as stated above).
10. The low height is perfect for the kids to walk up and start coloring.

WISH LIST FOR THIS SET (only two reasons why it received four stars and not five):
1. Too offer a set of low chairs that fit with this table.
2. Drill pilot holes for the chair pieces to fit together.
