Description

Young artists, budding business persons, and growing kids of all kinds will love the "real-furniture" feeling of the Classic Playtime Vanilla Deluxe Activity Table with Free Paper Roll. The sturdy solid wood frame of this kid's table stands up to all types of kid chaos, and the attached paper roll intrigues them, so they won't be able to resist sitting down quietly to try their hand at drawing. (We can hope, for your sake, can't we?) Routed edges even keep crayons corralled, which makes cleanup easier. Table arrives with two sets of legs: short and tall. The short legs set the height of the table at 18 inches, similar to a train table and great for toddlers (short legs not meant for use with chairs). The tall legs elevate the table to a height of 23 inches and accommodate chairs underneath. Get more from your table by adding a toy storage bin on casters, and optional matching chairs (2 or 4). Look for other matching products, too. Some assembly required. When you get it set up and set the kids loose on this creative place, peek around the corner to see amazing things happen.

    When designing the Classic Playtime Activity Table, naturally we wanted to create something that was easy and practical for kids to use. But we also wanted something that would coordinate easily with the rest of the furniture, whatever the room. The end product is our Classic Playtime Activity Table, which we believe hits the mark on both fronts.



    The main draw of this activity table is its large play surface, which is covered in durable wood veneers to hold up to the daily use of even the most energetic kids. Swapping out the shorter legs with the taller legs that are available means this table can grow along with your kids. Add chairs to the taller table, and you've got an ideal spot for kids to play games, color, eat, or possibly even do some homework.



    Some of us have even watched our kids in action at this table, and so far, we like what we see. We have a feeling you will, too.

    I have 2 girls, ages 3 & 5 and they use this table only a few times a week for coloring and arts and crafts. However, I noticed that our Crayola Washable markers stain the finish. This is very upsetting to me, as this is supposed to be an activity table for coloring. Also, we bought this for them as a Christmas gift 7 months ago and the finish is cracking around the border of the table. I love the look of the table and its sturdiness, just disappointed in the quality. I spent this amount of $$ on an activity table expecting it to be better quality than this.

      I am SO happy I researched tables and was happy with the reviews on this one. We received ours yesterday and put it together fairly easily. The chairs were a little more involved than I had thought and we did need an electric drill on a couple screws. The construction is solid, the finish is smooth(so easy to clean) and the design is perfect. My kids are 2 and 4 and we used the taller legs so they can use the chairs. It is a perfect height for them both. You could easily fit 6 chairs around this table. We'll probably order more in the future. They LOVED the paper roll and had fun coloring together. I was a little concerned that the almond color would get trashed, but the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser easily cleaned off the stray crayon marks the kids made. The other bonus is the "pencil rail" along the edges of the table. Perfect for the crayons and markers, and keeps stuff from rolling off the table.
      All in all, I am very happy with this table. We'll see how it holds up!

        My little 15 m/o artist is enjoying this set very much.[...] an easy assembly. The finish is smooth with a clean easy silhouette. If you have [...] furniture in Antique White, this will blend in very well. I was prepared for a nice size activity table, and boy, did I get it! You can fit up to a 20"W paper roll, the one that comes with the table is 18"W. The rolling bin glides like butter even on carpeting, did I mention it is roomy?! Glad I chose this over other competitors and think you will be to. The price is reasonable and the quality top notch. My first experience with Hayneedle is guaranteed for more major returns!
